Liesl is a registered social worker in private practise with a Masters in Gestalt Play Therapy, specializing as an equine facilitated psychotherapy and personal development practitioner. She ran a therapeutic retreat for children, families and adults outside Howick in the KZN Midlands for close to 10 years, before relocating to Bathurst in the Eastern Cape in 2016. She has been working with children, families and communities living in difficult circumstances voluntarily and professionally for more than 20 years. Her experience includes individual, couples, family and group therapeutic services as well as community and programme development.
